Multi-family Market Report for Greater Vancouver new
The worst of the recession of 2008-09 would seem to be behind us. As expected there were fewer transactions in the region last year. We recorded 17.5% fewer transactions than in 2008 (wood-frame only). The biggest surprise to us was the impact on rental rates. We had forecast rental rates to remain stable in 2009 which is in line with CMHC statistics.
