UPDATED: Primaris REIT (PMZ-UN-T) is kicking off the new year by acquiring interests in the Southgate Centre in Edmonton and Oshawa Centre in the Greater Toronto Area from Ivanhoé Cambridge, and selling the Sherwood Park Mall just outside Edmonton.
Multifamily housing in smaller communities is an excellent buying opportunity which should continue to grow in value, says the CEO of Pier 4 REIT, which has been busy acquiring these types of properties over the past few months.
