David Feldman, founder, chairman and CEO of Camrost Felcorp, has handed over daily operations to his son Joseph Feldman, who has been named president and COO of the Toronto-based residential and commercial real estate developer.
The company is “evolving our leadership and sharpening our focus to be even more responsive, ambitious and future-oriented,” David Feldman said in this week's announcement. “Joseph’s leadership, alongside a team of seasoned development executives, will ensure we continue to deliver thoughtful, high-impact projects across the region.”
Joseph Feldman has been with Camrost Felcorp since 2014, starting as a development coordinator and working his way up to vice president and COO in 2020. During that time he has had roles in acquisitions, finance, construction, marketing, sales and stakeholder relations.
He also contributed to Camrost Felcorp’s mixed-use development projects such as Imperial Village in Forest Hill, Upper East Village in Leaside and the Exchange District in Mississauga.
Prior to Camrost Felcorp, he worked at BMO Financial Group and Canaccord Genuity Inc. He holds a bachelor of commerce from McGill University.
David Feldman will continue to serve as chairman and CEO, and remain active in the company’s management.
The company, which is approaching its 50th anniversary, has developed over 85 buildings in the Greater Toronto Area, making up 25 million square feet of residential, office and retail space. It is currently developing condo, purpose-built rental and commercial projects.
