Seven out of the 11 major Canadian cities surveyed by Altus Group have a commercial tax rate more than double the residential tax rate, according to the 2022 Canadian Property Tax Rate Benchmark Report.
The office markets in Canada’s major cities aren’t as buoyant as during pre-pandemic days, but are still doing relatively well in comparison to those in other countries.
