Male Allyship Award for PCL’s Widdifield
PCL Construction’s Mike Widdifield, Toronto operations manager, has been named the recipient of the 2026 Male Allyship Award from the Canadian Association of Women in Construction (CAWIC).
The award recognizes Widdifield’s contributions to advancing women in construction through sponsorship, advocacy and inclusive leadership.
“He consistently advocates for women when they are not in the room and ensures talented individuals receive the visibility and support needed to advance their careers,” Myke Badry, vice-president and district manager of PCL’s Toronto office, said.
Widdifield has intentionally championed women for high-profile project assignments, leadership development opportunities and industry committees that increase exposure, build influential networks and position them for career advancement.

The Male Allyship Award honours a male leader who actively champions equity, elevates women’s voices and creates meaningful opportunities for women to succeed within their organizations and across the construction industry.
