RioCan reports stellar quarter for retail leasing

RioCan REIT (REI-UN-T) experienced strong leasing during the first three months of 2024, completing over 1.3 million square feet of leases at a blended spread of 14 per cent. And that momentum continues, according to RioCan CEO Jonathan Gitlin.

Markham King Square mall, development land in receivership, for sale

One of the country’s largest Asian-style shopping centres, the 340,000-square-foot King Square in the Toronto suburb of Markham, along with an adjacent development land parcel are being administered for sale by Ernst and Young under a court-ordered receivership process.
