North Vancouver, BC — September 28, 2026 — Cascadia Development (“Cascadia”) is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Fiera Real Estate’s Canadian Built Opportunities Fund (“CBOF”) for the development of a purpose-built rental housing community located at 2525 Lonsdale Avenue in the City of North Vancouver.
The partnership marks a significant milestone for the project and highlights the alignment between Cascadia’s development expertise and Fiera Real Estate’s investment strategy through its Canadian Built Opportunities Fund in British Columbia. The project is planned as a community-oriented mid-rise rental development that will deliver 66 purpose-built rental homes, including a mix of market and affordable housing units. Designed at a human scale, the development is intended to complement the surrounding neighbourhood while contributing meaningfully to long-term rental housing supply in one of Metro Vancouver’s most supply-constrained and desirable communities.
Centrally located in North Vancouver, 2525 Lonsdale is positioned within close proximity to transit, retail amenities, employment centres, schools, recreation, and the broader North Shore transportation network. The site offers residents walkable access to daily conveniences while supporting the continued evolution of Lonsdale as a vibrant, connected, and livable urban corridor.
The partnership brings together Cascadia’s local development expertise, integrated project delivery capabilities, and long-term commitment to the North Shore with Fiera Real Estate’s institutional investment platform and national experience in urban residential development. Together, the parties share a vision of delivering enduring rental housing that supports community resilience, design quality, and long-term value creation.
Construction is anticipated to begin in 2027, with completion targeted for 2029. The development is also expected to support local employment and economic activity through the engagement of Canadian consultants, contractors, and union trades throughout the construction process.
